I also really enjoyed Watchmen. It was very well done. I figure I might just check out the movie version of V for now, maybe even tomorrow, and then worry about reading it later. I have a billion comics to read as it is anyway. =)
I'm thinking of seeing the movie, but at any rate, I wanted to make sure to experience Alan Moore's story the way he originally meant it before I went to see the movie. Now I'm curious as to how faithfully they adapted certain parts.

I don't know which I prefer, V or Watchmen: what I do think is that V is a better book to recommend to readers who are not already hooked on comics. I love Watchmen, but one of the things I love about it is the way it talks about comics, which makes it more appealing to people who are already fans.
