I've been tempted to listen to the Carrie Musical lately . . . but that's probably due to subconscious influence from reading Mike Resnick, and having drunk a whole bottle of cough syrup when I was quite young *grin*.
Michael! I found your livejournal via Kris Snyder's, and I'd just like to say that I'm glad that you should listen to Pippin more often -- it's an amazing show. I got the DVD with Ben Vereen for Christmas... amazing.
I'm still trying to convince Robin to do it for spring musical... oy vey.
I first saw Pippin when I was in high school, as it was performed at my high school. I was blown away by the show. Although I've only seen it once more, a production at MIT, I do own the Ben Vereen version (that's the original cast) on CD and that's the one I was listening to all the time.
If CSW ends up doing it I want to know. I'll want to be there.
