Hugo Nominations Announced
Mar. 26th, 2005 10:04 pmThe Hugo nominations were announced today, and I have been nominated in two categories:
Novella: "Time Ablaze" (Analog, June 2004)
Short Story: "Decisions" (Analog, January/February 2004)
The full ballot can be found at http://www.interaction.worldcon.org.uk/pressr31.htm
I may have more to say about the nominations a little later. For right now, I'd just like to thank everyone who chose to nominate my stories. It's an honor just to be nominated.
For those of you who haven't read the stories yet, "Time Ablaze" is currently available at Fictionwise as a free download; and "Decisions" will be available there soon as well. Also, I imagine both stories will end up available to read on the Analog webpage at http://www.analogsf.com in a week or so.

Date: 2005-03-27 05:41 am (UTC)(I am disappointed that "Short Line Loco" didn't make it into Novelettes, though... I thought it was incredible.)

Date: 2005-03-27 04:04 pm (UTC)You're welcome. Keep in mind that I can't always read everyone who friends me though; I friend back so people who are really interested can view my locked posts (not that there's a lot of them).
I suppose, given the number of people who have now friended me due to Neil's blog, I ought to make a post soon reminding people of my policy...
