So a few weeks ago, I asked folks for advice on what to do with my copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince that had the upside-down signature. A majority of people who responded to my poll felt that I should sell this "cursed" copy of the book on eBay, as I was already contemplating.

Voila:

So far, I've seen copies offered that had upside-down binding for the whole book, but none yet with a single upside-down signature of pages. Hopefully, the right collector out there will find the listing.

And if any of you are interested...well, bidding ends in a week.

I think the "cursed copy" marketing tack may be too cutesy and possibly responsible for the lack of bids. Try putting words like "irregular" in the description and see what happens.

Actually, from what an experienced seller friend told me, often bids don't come in until very late in the game. So I'll leave the description alone for now.

Maybe I should offer to sell a cheese sandwich with a face on it instead.

Yeah, and from a very nice collector. I'm torn; I like him and hope he wins, but I wouldn't mind getting a little more money for the item.
