Robert Sheckley (1928-2005)

Harlan Ellison has just reported the passing of science fiction writer Robert Sheckley, in a New York hospital this morning. He was 77 years old.

I only met Sheckley once, at a Boskone. He was a gentleman.

I never had the priviledge of meeting Sheckley but I've read a great deal of his work.

He will be missed.
