I just saw that [livejournal.com profile] saxikath did this, and I'm not sure if it's a meme, but it looked amusing. So here's the first line of every public post of mine that started each month of the year. For those of you who want to recall what each line was about, click on the name of the month.

I have to admit that I find my first line of December to be most ironic.

January:
Happy new year to everyone reading Mabfan's Musings!

February:
Fifty years ago today, my maternal grandfather Louis Cohen passed away from multiple myeloma.

March:
Thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes.

April:
April 3rd is Cheese Weasel Day, the day that the cheese weasel leaves cheese at the computer keyboards of all good boys and girls.

May:
Happy 75th birthday to the Empire State Building!

June:
As I suspected, Brookline Town Meeting's passage of a resolution calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush was picked up by the press.

July:
What she said.

August:
For those of us in southern New England, the National Weather Service has issued a Severe Weather Alert for today and tomorrow.

September:
As many of you know, Nomi and I have been watching borrowed DVDs of the TV show Stargate SG-1 in order to catch up with what we've missed.

October:
To begin with, I'd like to thank any and all of you who sent their good wishes for my Mom's health, whether in a LiveJournal comment, a private email, or in any other way.

November:
I'm doing something that I never thought I'd do; in fact, it's something that I spoke out against my doing last year.

December:
Those of you who keep up with my blog may have noticed that I haven't been posting a lot lately.

I couldn't do this, as I haven't posted every month.
