Will Update Soon

I know I haven't updated much here since the car trouble (and it's all repaired, although costly). I was dealing with the end of the school year -- grades, narratives, cleaning my classroom, and taking the new Science teachers through the curriculum. I will have a significant update soon, though.

In the meantime, if you're a member of Worldcon, don't forget to vote your ballots! Obviously, I'm most interested in people voting their Hugo ballots, but there's also the Retro-Hugo and the Site Selection to consider....

Hugo ballots are due by July 31. That's a "received by" date, not a "mail by" date. Although you can also vote your ballot on-line.

I was under the impression that you could print them off the web but they still had to be mailed physically.

Nope, you can also submit a ballot via their webpage. Only thing is, you need to use your Hugo PIN, which was on the label of the last Progress Report mailed out. See

And it turns out that if you mail the ballot, July 31 is a postmark date. My misunderstanding there.
