I can remember when Pluto was the farthest planet from the Sun. And then it wasn't. And then it was again.
None of my descendants will have this experience for many generations to come, but neither will I live to see Pluto complete its first orbit since discovery.
Btw, this year's Worldcon Masquerade had two pro-Pluto costumes. One a Master's level group extravaganza with all the planets inluding Pluto, and the other a young fan dressed as an alien carrying a pro-Pluto protest sign. She then threatened to "eat the face" of anyone who denied Pluto's planetary status.
