Banana Split!

This week is the 100th anniversary of the invention of the banana split, apparently:

Also, today is the 35th anniversary of the Moon Landing. It's a shame that we didn't stay.

I love another variation:

Bananas bruelle splits

I can't help it I watch the food channel.


Like a creme breule: Coat chilled bananas with sugar. Melt sugar till lightly browned. Let cool till solid. In a bowl add chocolate syrup, bananas, ice cream, Wipped cream, nuts and a cherry. EAT!
