mabfanJust a note to all and sundry that Nomi and I are in the middle of observing Passover. We were away from the Internet on Tuesday and Wednesday, and we'll be away again next Monday and Tuesday. I'm doing my best to catch up, but it's amazing how quickly the world moves forward even when you take a moment to pause and reflect.
Our seders were good; due to the existence of Muffin and Squeaker, for the first time in our married lives we had the seders at our place as opposed to Nomi's parents' home or some other locale. The first night we had over a friend of Nomi's mother, along with her daughter and mother. The daughter, who is about our age, watches a lot of the same television that we do, so we had a lot to talk about.
For the second night, we had over a close friend who is also a major film critic and may or may not be reading this right now.
Passover is keeping us busy, as is work and my campaign for Brookline Library Trustee. I'm contemplating having some sort of $5 per person fundraiser at our place on a Sunday; people would come over, eat Nomi's cookie bars, see the babies, and contribute five bucks to the campaign. The question is, would people be interested? I shall contemplate.
So much to talk about, and so little time....
