Mistwood Release Party
Apr. 29th, 2010 01:05 pmIn the midst of everything else going on, I wanted to make sure to boost the signal on the following:
Our good friend Leah Cypess has just seen her first book, the YA fantasy novel Mistwood, released by Greenwillow Books/HarperCollins. There's going to be a book launch party this Sunday, May 2nd, from 2 pm - 4 pm at the Young Israel of Brookline in Brookline, MA. Books will be made available for sale by Brookline Booksmith.
Nomi and I plan to buy at least three copies - one for us, and one each for Muffin and Squeaker, as Leah is poised to become the next J.K. Rowling and buying these books now will help us put them through college in the future. :-)
Seriously, though, Mistwood has received some excellent reviews, and we're looking forward to getting our hands on it this weekend. If you want to experience the joy of an author's first book launch party, stop on by.

Date: 2010-04-30 04:54 am (UTC)(I have a small problem with the cover font, because the final D looks like an upside-down G and so I've been reading the title "MistGoom for several weeks, which doesn't make sense. But my... spacial things? think that D is a G, and so the second half of the title MUST be upside-down, and processes it as one word read outsides to in, rather than left to right.)
(It's a very small problem, really)
