NYC Transit Strike

mabfanI hear this morning that a transit strike is taking place in New York City, forcing many of my friends to find alternate transportation to work.
Is it crazy that this news actually makes me nostalgic for my hometown?
I hope the strike gets resolved quickly, peacefully, and satisfactorily for all involved. In the meantime, if you're a New Yorker trying to find your way to work and home today, you have my sympathies and support.
