Two interesting perspectives on a panel I moderated at Arisia, offered with the simple comment that moderating a panel is an art, not a science.

Of the panels I attended, I liked the "Blogging For Writers" one the most, because it was structured and orderly, appealing to my control-freak/handler sensibilities... it was moderated by Michael A. Burstein, who seems to be my kind of tidy thinker with good work habits. It easily could have run longer, with room for more Q&A.

I did manage to catch "Blogging for Writers," which featuredshadesong,
nihilistic_kid , and Eric Alfred Burns, and was moderated by
mabfan . The moderation was a bit overly-strict, and I think Nick was holding back on the sarcasm, but overall it was interesting.

Well, you've saved me the trouble of dropping you an e-mail. Thanks again for a most enjoyable panel.
